The Homework

Please come prepared for the plenary and workshop on NextGen Cases. The total homework will be about 2 hours.

  • Step 1: Read the directions! You received this information in your email as well. Students, please refer to the directions in your email.
  • Step 2: Access the clinical decision question training (via the directions).
  • Step 3: Check your Group Assignment.
  • Step 5: Download the notes template and review the Integrated Illness Scripts for your group listed below.

Access your assigned cases via Aqueduct through your home institution or the Aquifer Consortium program. Contact Jackie Short with any questions.

Choose Your Own Adventure Social Activity

Wednesday Evening, September 25

We have planned a new type of event for socializing that combines fun, self-directed learning, getting to know other members of the Aquifer Consortium better and creating something new. On the meeting schedule, you will see “Choose Your Own Adventure-Visual Scavenger Hunt in Boston.” You and your team members will explore Boston, capture images along the way, share a meal together while having a ton of fun. During registration, you will be asked to sign up for a group based on general interests. Your group of six will then work together to decide what your journey will look like including dining together on Wednesday night. Here are some possible choices to get you excited. The final list will be waiting at the registration table:

  • Explore the Arts
  • Finding Historic Boston
  • The Best of Boston Brews
  • Stop to Smell the Flowers – Wandering Boston’s Beautiful Gardens
  • The Cutting Edge – Boston Science
  • Visit the Boston Waterways
  • Boston Sports: For those of you who really want to see the Bruins’ game (7pm on Wednesday), please email Sherilyn Smith directly before Monday, September 23 and we will work on getting tickets.

The plan is to be out and about, so pack casual clothes, comfortable shoes and a jacket, raincoat, or umbrella in case New England weather rears its cooler or wetter head.
