Bio: Dr. McBurney is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina. She works as a pediatric hospitalist and as the pediatric clerkship co-director. One of the roles that she is proudest of is as Faculty Advisor to the Students in the Paul B. Underwood, Jr, Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She is also a member of COMSEP. She has been involved with Aquifer (formerly CLIPP) since 2004 when she introduced the MUSC students to the pediatric simulated on-line cases.
